It's been six weeks since my last post, and I have been sooooooo busy! I have developed a full range of Cityscapes - London, Manchester, Paris, New York and Dubai! These are not for the faint hearted beginners as there is a LOT of detail n them and around 20 threads. I know the seasoned cross stitchers who use embroidery thread would laugh at me calling these challenging, but my intention was to make them a little simpler, and by using wool on a larger scale, easier on the eyes!
The design using a 10ct canvas is 40cm x 40cm using crewel wool, but it can also be done as a large cushion at 57cm x 57cm using the tapestry wool on a 7ct. This makes for a huge, bold and funky finished piece which personally I find easier to sew!
My lovely friend Abbe has offered to test out the London cushion on 7ct... so the kit was delivered this morning!!
